Design Systems
Exploration of the development of design identities in the form of multi-component, multi-stage, or cross-media projects. Development of series and systems that include visual and verbal components to create a cohesive identity across deliverables that either communicate, reinforce, or build upon a message. Analysis of various cultural institutions and their design systems including digital signage, wayfinding, website, and printed ephemera.
Project components may range from identity systems (logotype, typeface, color palette, sub-brands) to materials including print collateral, interactive web/digital projects (including sound and video), signage systems, and advertising.
