The product:

Elio is a Los Angeles-based organization focused on renewable energy and sustainability. The organization needs a tool that helps people learn about and manage their transportation choices. Elio's primary target users include college students and adults who are concerned with their transportation's environmental impact and would like to learn more about adopting eco-friendly practices.

Project duration:

March 2024 to April 2024

My role:

UX designer leading the app and responsive website design from conception to delivery

The problem:

80% of transportation in the United States relies on non-renewable sources each year (gasoline and diesel). The strategy team at EcoRide has identified a lack of general knowledge about electric vehicle benefits and a limited understanding of personal impact as crucial drivers for continued reliance on non-renewable transportation options.

The goal:

Design an app that will improve education on the topic of renewable energy and help users order eco-friendly cars for their transportation needs.

Responsibilities:

Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs, determining information architecture, and responsive design.
